On May 25, 2018, Deputy Minister Zhao Yong of the General Administration of Sport visited the Miuer booth at the Sports Industry Fair, gaining in-depth knowledge of the innovative technical features of Miuer's DPU sports flooring materials, and participated in the material's egg drop test. Deputy Minister Zhao showed great concern and was particularly interested in the quality of synthetic tracks and sports flooring materials used in competitive events. IBM has discovered a new polymer that retains all the advantages of thermosetting plastics and is also recyclable. IBM claims this polymer is harder than bone, can self-repair, is lightweight, and can be recycled at a 1% rate. It can be used in material casings and semiconductors, potentially changing the entire industry's ecosystem. Interestingly, such a polymer was not discovered by chemists but by IBM's supercomputer.
