Broadly used in the production of cosmetics, plastic cold-resistant plasticizers, release agents, stabilizers, surfactants, rubber vulcanization accelerators, waterproofing agents, polishing agents, metal soaps, metal mineral flotation agents, softeners, and other organic chemicals.

Additionally, it can be used as a solvent for oil-soluble pigments, a lubricant for crayons, a polishing agent for wax paper, and an emulsifier for glycerides of stearic acid, etc.

This product is used as a lubricant, defoamer, and raw material for food additives such as glycerides of stearic acid, sorbitan esters of stearic acid, and sucrose esters in the food industry. It is also used as a raw material for auxiliary agents and daily chemical products.

Stearic acid is widely used in the production of PVC plastic pipes, sheets, profiles, and films. It acts as a heat stabilizer for PVC, offering excellent lubricity and good light and heat stability. In PVC pipe manufacturing, stearic acid helps prevent "carbonization" during the processing phase. Adding it as a heat stabilizer in PVC film processing is effective and can also guard against discoloration of the finished film caused by exposure to sulfur compounds.
