Fire-resistant windows are windows, including their frames, that can maintain both fire resistance stability and integrity for a certain period of time. They are required in the outer walls of two buildings where the fire-resistant distance is insufficient, or in spaces separated by fire walls, when light and ventilation are needed.

Fireproof Window Categories:
Fixed Fire Window: A fire window without an opening sash.

Operable fire-resistant windows: Fire-resistant windows with operable sashes and equipped with sash opening and closing control devices.

Insulation Fireproof Windows (Type A): Fire-resistant windows that meet both fire resistance integrity and insulation requirements within a specified time frame.

Window Selection for Fire Resistance

Fire-resistant windows are made of steel, available in two grades: Grade A (with a fire resistance of 1.20h) and Grade B (with a fire resistance of 0.90h).

Fire-resistant windows are primarily used in the fire-resistant walls of high-rise buildings, requiring the use of Class A fire-resistant windows that can close automatically.

When the horizontal distance between doors and windows near both sides of the fire-resistant wall is less than 2 meters, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.

In addition to residential buildings, kitchens in all other structures should use Class B fire-resistant windows.

One and two-level fire-resistant buildings should use Class B fire-resistant windows when opening windows in the hall partitions.
