Fire-resistant windows refer to windows, including their frames, that can meet the requirements for fire resistance stability and integrity within a specified period. They should be used on the exterior walls of two buildings where the fire separation distance is insufficient, or between spaces separated by fire partitions, when natural lighting and ventilation are needed.

Fire-resistant window categories:
Fixed fire window: A fire window without an opening sash.

Operable fire-resistant windows: Fire-resistant windows with operable sashes and equipped with sash opening and closing control devices.

Insulation Fireproof Windows (Type A): Fireproof windows that meet both the requirements of fire resistance integrity and insulation within the specified time.

Non-insulating fire-resistant windows (Class C): Fire-resistant windows that can meet the fire resistance integrity requirements within a specified time. Divided by fire resistance limits and insulation performance:
Fire-resistant window selection:

Fire-resistant windows are made of steel and are available in two grades: Class A (with a fire resistance of 1.20h) and Class B (with a fire resistance of 0.90h).

Fire-resistant windows are primarily used in fire walls of high-rise buildings, requiring the use of甲级 self-closing fire-resistant windows.

If the horizontal distance between doors and windows near either side of the firewall is less than 2 meters, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.

Apart from residential buildings, kitchens in other structures should use Class B fire-resistant windows.

One and two-level fire-resistant building lobby partition walls should use Class B fire-resistant windows when openings are made for windows.
