Fire-resistant windows refer to windows, including their frames, that meet the requirements for fire resistance stability and integrity within a certain period. When there is insufficient fire separation between the exterior walls of two buildings, or between spaces separated by fire partitions, and there is a need for lighting and ventilation, fire-resistant windows should be used.

Fire-resistant window classifications:
Fixed Fire Window: A fire window without an opening sash.

Operable fire-resistant windows: Fire-resistant windows with operable sashes and equipped with a sash opening/closing control device.

Insulating Fire Window (Type A): Fire window that meets both fire resistance integrity and insulating requirements within specified time.

Fire-resistant windows are made of steel, available in two types: Class A (fire resistance of 1.20h) and Class B (fire resistance of 0.90h).

When the horizontal distance between doors and windows adjacent to the fire-resistant wall is less than 2 meters, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.

In addition to residential buildings, kitchens in other structures should be equipped with Class B fire-resistant windows.

When windows are installed in the partition walls of hallways in Class 1 and 2 fire-resistant buildings, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.
