Fire-resistant windows refer to windows that, along with their frames, can meet the requirements for fire resistance stability and integrity within a specified time period. When there is insufficient fire separation between the exterior walls of two buildings, or between spaces separated by fire walls, and there is a need for lighting and ventilation, fire-resistant windows should be used.

Fire-resistant window classifications:
Fixed fire window: A fire window without operable sash.

Operable fire-resistant windows: Fire-resistant windows with operable sashes and equipped with sash opening and closing control devices.
