Fire-resistant windows refer to windows, including their frames, that can meet the requirements for fire resistance stability and integrity within a specified period. They should be used when there is a lack of fire separation between the exterior walls of two buildings, or between spaces separated by fire partitions, where natural light and ventilation are needed.

Fire-resistant Window Categories:
Fixed fire window: A fire window without an operable sash.

Operable fire window: A fire-resistant window with operable sashes and equipped with a control mechanism for opening and closing the sashes.

Insulation Fireproof Windows (Type A): Fireproof windows that meet both fire resistance integrity and insulation requirements within the specified time.

Fire-resistant windows are made of steel, available in two types: Class A (fire resistance of 1.20h) and Class B (fire resistance of 0.90h).

When the horizontal distance between doors and windows near both sides of the fire-resistant wall is less than 2 meters, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.

One and two-grade fire-resistant building lobby partition walls should use Class B fire-resistant windows when openings are made for windows.
