What are the methods for pool leak repair, and what is the construction process for it? Today, the editor will share this knowledge with you. In fact, solving pool leaks can start from the source. As long as we strictly control the quality of materials, use chemical grouting materials with product certificates, manuals, and technical reports, and only proceed after on-site sampling and re-examination, we will never use counterfeit products. Moreover, adhering to strict operational procedures and technical specifications, and not cutting corners during construction, will generally suffice.

1. During underwater operations, 1) Determine the repair plan: Before plugging leaks, a site survey is necessary to understand the concrete construction quality, analyze the causes of leakage, identify the location and dimensions of cracks (width, length, depth, and penetration), and understand leakage conditions during rainy and dry seasons. Measure the flow and velocity of leakage, and through thorough investigation, correctly formulate the repair plan and prepare for all necessary steps. 2) Material Performance Characteristics: The DH-814Ⅱ polyurethane quick-plugging adhesive reacts upon contact with water, a unique advantage as the slurry is not diluted or washed away due to the water's participation in the reaction. This is not a feature of other grouting materials; under pressure, the slurry is injected into concrete cracks and also permeates around them. Upon contact with water, it reacts, foams, and expands to form a secondary permeation, continuing to seep into the concrete gaps and ultimately forming a mesh-like structure. It is a low-density, water-containing elastic body with good adaptability to deformation and excellent water-stopping properties. 3) Design and Placement of Grouting Holes: Grouting holes can be placed either along the crack or at an angle, based on actual conditions and requirements. Both methods can be used simultaneously if necessary.

2. Construction Key Points:

(1) Locate and clean the water leakage points, ensuring the affected area is thoroughly cleaned.

(2) Pre-bury the grouting pipes with a quick leak堵agent, the spacing should be determined based on actual conditions, generally around 1 meter.

(3) Use an electric high-pressure grouting pump to inject water-soluble polyurethane sealant into the concrete gaps through the grouting tube until it can no longer be pushed in (injection rate ≤ 0.011/min). Then, close the valve and remove the grouting nozzle after 24 hours.

(4) To achieve long-term waterproofing, it is recommended to apply a polyurethane waterproofing layer on the construction surface.

(5) Clean equipment and tools promptly with solvent after grouting is completed.

(6) Ensure proper ventilation on the construction site, be vigilant about fire prevention, and strictly prohibit any open flame.

Hydroelectric power station reservoir leak prevention and plugging construction unit. The basic principle of the waterproofing and plugging method used is chemical grouting. Chemical grouting involves using manual or mechanical means to seal leaks while submerged, under pressure, injecting specialized chemical grouting materials into the structural cracks of buildings, causing the grouting material to solidify within the cracks, thereby filling the gaps and stopping water leakage.

Underwater Construction Safety Emergency Measures: The project dispatch center should maintain contact with local meteorological and hydrological stations at all times, listen to actual weather conditions daily, and keep detailed records. This ensures the ability to promptly grasp and respond to weather changes and rainfall dynamics. Strictly adhere to the requirements for fuel supply and reception to prevent leaks. For cracks that penetrate, methods such as sealing, burying pipes, and chemical grouting can be used. For non-penetrating cracks, due to the airlock, it is difficult to fill the liquid to the tip of the crack, thus unable to eliminate the stress concentration area formed in the high zone. Therefore, comprehensive consideration of various factors should be given during treatment to improve the filling rate of the liquid. For temperature cracks, considering the "lag effect" of concrete structures on temperature, it is generally advisable to perform grouting and leakage prevention during the low point of concrete body temperature for better results.

Hydroelectric power reservoir leakage prevention and plugging construction unit, grouting is a new type of chemical grouting plugging technology using two-component grouting. The three raw materials are weighed and mixed with water to form the A liquid, and solid sulfur is weighed and mixed with water to form the B liquid. After mixing the two liquids, a polymerization reaction occurs, with initial setting in 30 seconds and complete reaction in 2-3 minutes, finally forming a gel. The grouting is applied in a water-soluble form into the structural layer, with low viscosity and good permeability, able to inject into cracks below 0.1mm. The grout can coagulate under moist, fast water flow, and large water volume conditions; the gel has good anti-seepage properties, expands when encountering water, and is resistant to erosion. The compressive strength of the gel is 0.01-0.06MPa, and the tensile strength is 0.02-0.04MPa.

Grouting methods are primarily used for leaks with high water flow, scattered water streams, and areas where sealing cracks and individual water outlets are not conducive. The sealing positions are determined based on the crack conditions. Internal grouting is conducted to seal water flow paths and cracks, or to concentrate water flow for easier sealing. For concentrated outlets with a leak rate exceeding 150mL/min, the water diversion grouting method is employed to stop the water flow. First, drill holes at the outlets, ensuring the drilling depth does not穿透 the structural layer and is no less than 20cm to avoid excessive grout dispersion during the process and to clear intricate fine cracks around the outlet for pressure relief. Then, clean out the gravel and debris from the hole, embed a 25mm diameter plastic flexible tube into the water diversion hole using quick-setting gel, and finally, finish the mouth with mortar.
