Wear-Resistant Pipe Fittings

Wear on abrasion-resistant pipes is a common occurrence; any two contacting surfaces with relative motion will experience wear. Pipe wear refers to the damage caused by the separation or transfer of material on the surface of the pipe due to the impact of flowing water and small, loose particles.

Wear-resistant pipes made from ideal high-strength, high-toughness, and high-plasticity materials are a crucial method for reducing abrasive wear.

Wear-resistant pipe materials are generally divided into four categories: 1. High polymer material pipes; 2. Non-metallic inorganic material pipes; 3. Metal material pipes; 4. Composite material pipes.

Abrasion-resistant pipes are widely used for transporting filling materials, concentrate, and tailings in severely worn-out mines, as well as for conveying coal powder, slag removal, and ash in coal-fired power plants, making them highly suitable for wear-resistant pipeline applications.
