Steam boilers are industrial boilers that heat water to certain parameters, producing high-temperature steam. Water is heated in the drum to become steam, while heat is released in the furnace chamber. This is the principle of a steam boiler.

Steam boilers are specialized equipment, and their design, processing, manufacturing, installation, and operation must be supervised by the technical supervision department. Pre-incident Inspections and Preparations

1.Inspect the manhole covers and handhole covers of the boiler owners to ensure they are installed, and check if the bolts at the flange seals are tightened. Additionally, verify that all temporary baffles and plug heads at the flange locations have been fully removed.

2.Dust and debris inside the furnace chamber and flue should be cleaned. The dampers and gates in the air and flue ducts must be complete, tight, and operate smoothly with accurate indicators of opening and closing. After inspection, close the economizer main flue damper, open the bypass flue damper, and if there is no bypass flue, open the economizer recirculation pipe valve.

3.The exterior of the steam boiler should be intact and airtight, and all devices such as the furnace door, ash door, fire door, and inspection door should be complete and tightly closed.

4.Ensure that safety attachments are intact, check valves turn freely, and all instruments and control devices are complete, undamaged, and clean. The water level gauge should be well-lit. After inspection, the water level gauge and pressure gauge check valves should be in the operational position.

5.All handwheels on valves on various steam boiler pipes should be intact and damage-free, operate smoothly, and have sufficient sealing material. After inspection, open the drain valves on the steam pipes and the valves on the feedwater pipes.

6Inspect that the combustion device is intact, mechanical transmission, coal conveying, and slag discharge systems are operating normally. The safety spring compression in the speed control box should be appropriate, with good lubrication. The coal gate should move up and down smoothly, the scale indication on the coal gate is accurate, the eagle is clean and intact, the slag turning plate is complete, and the movement is agile.
