Oil leakage in transformer handling measures
1. Replace Sealing Gaskets: Sealing gasket aging is one of the primary reasons for transformer oil leakage. Regularly inspect and replace worn-out gaskets, choosing oil-resistant sealing materials to ensure effective sealing. Additionally, during the replacement process, ensure the quality of gasket installation to avoid new leakage issues caused by improper installation.
2. Welding Reinforcement: For oil leakage issues caused by poor welding quality, welding reinforcement can be employed. Pay attention to the standardization of welding techniques during reinforcement to ensure the sealability and strength of the welding points. Defective welds, such as blowholes, sand holes, and cold joints, should be thoroughly cleaned and repaired to guarantee the quality of the weld.
3. Use Leak Sealing Adhesive: For minor oil leakage issues, leak sealing adhesive can be used to block the leaks. This method is suitable for minor cracks in welds or local oil leakage in seals. Choose a specialized adhesive for transformer oil, ensuring it has good oil and temperature resistance to effectively prevent oil leakage over a long period.
4. Technical Modification: For oil leakage issues that cannot be resolved by replacing seals, welding, or plugging, technical modification should be implemented. For example, cut and re-weld the pipeline sections of the gas relay and radiator flange interfaces where the central axes do not align, to make the flanges parallel. In cases where the transformer bushing terminal is subjected to high loads, causing the gasket to age and leak oil, installing a flexible connection device or adding a support porcelain bottle can reduce the screw's load, thereby solving the oil leakage problem.
