Ball Mill Daily Maintenance

All lubricants for the ball mill should be completely drained after the mill has been in continuous operation for one month, thoroughly cleaned, and replaced with new oil. Thereafter, oil changes should be scheduled approximately every six months in conjunction with the medium maintenance.

2. The lubrication status of each ball mill lubrication point and the oil level height should be checked at least every 4 hours.

During the operation of the ball mill, the temperature rise of the main bearing lubricating oil does not exceed 55°C.

4. When the ball mill is operating normally, the temperature rise of the transmission bearing and reducer does not exceed 55°C, and is no higher than 60°C when elevated.

5. The ball mill's large and small gears feature smooth transmission with no abnormal noise. Adjust the gap promptly when necessary.

The ball mill operates smoothly without any strong vibrations.

The ball mill motor current should not exhibit any abnormal fluctuations.

All connecting fasteners are securely fastened without any loosening, and there are no oil, water, or mineral leaks at the junction surfaces.

9. Steel balls should be replenished promptly based on wear conditions.

If an abnormal condition is detected in the ball mill, stop grinding and conduct maintenance immediately.
