How to Maintain a High-Power Plate Laser Cutting Machine

I. Routine Maintenance

1. Clean Cutting Surface：

• After each use, it is important to promptly clean up metal shavings, dust, and impurities from the cutting table surface to prevent deformation of the table or affect the cutting accuracy.

• Regularly inspect the protective lens, reflector, and focusing lens of the laser cutting machine, ensuring their surfaces are clean and free of contamination to prevent any impact on the quality and stability of the laser beam. In case of dirt or damage, gently wipe with isopropyl alcohol or a specialized cleaning agent.

• Inspect the pressure, temperature, and flow of the cooling water to ensure adequate cooling for the laser tube. Regularly replace the cooling water and clean the water tank and pipes to prevent scale and impurities from clogging.

• Inspect gas sources, pipeline connections, and solenoid valves to ensure normal gas supply and prevent leaks. Regularly clean impurities and oil from the gas lines.

• Inspect electrical wires, cables, and connectors to ensure secure connections and good insulation, preventing potential hazards such as short circuits and electric leaks.

Bi-weekly Maintenance

1. Clean Air Fan：

• Regularly clean dust and impurities from the fan to ensure optimal exhaust and deodorization, reducing noise and energy consumption.

• Inspect the lubrication of the guide rails, promptly replenish with oil or grease, to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimize wear.

• Inspect the wear on drive belts, gears, bearings, and other transmission components. Replace or repair as necessary if any abnormalities are detected.
