The Disc Vacuum Filter, as a new type of filtration equipment, has overcome the issues of high energy consumption, poor working conditions, frequent failures, and high operating costs associated with the traditional intermittent operation process of pressure filters. It achieves low moisture content in the filter cake, clear filtrate, and continuous cleaning of the filter cloth without reducing production output under higher vacuum conditions. With low investment costs and high production efficiency, it has been widely applied and promoted in the treatment of tailings in mineral processing.
Tailings comprehensive treatment methods
The tailings, containing a large amount of water from the mine, are thickened by a thickener and then fed into a disk vacuum filter for separation. The filtered cake can be directly dried and stored, while the supernatant from the thickener and the filtrate from the filter are filtered and reused. For ultra-fine particles, a flocculant is added through a dosing unit before thickening, and then thickened and filtered through the disk vacuum filter.

Technical Features
1. The tank, serving as a container for material slurry and a load-bearing support for equipment, plays a crucial role in product stability due to its sturdy and durable structure. By adding an alumina high molecular wear-resistant coating at the bottom of the tank, the issue of easy wear on the tank is fundamentally addressed.
2. Designed for tailings fines with high friction coefficients and large particle sizes, and fast sedimentation rates, the filter fan is enhanced by using high-strength wear-resistant materials and thicker wall thickness to improve the filter fan's strength and enhance its surface wear resistance, thereby extending the service life of the filter fan.
3. The cross-section of the filtrate tube is large, and the cavity volume of the distribution head is substantial, enhancing the suction rate and the filtrate discharge efficiency.
4. Filter pipes are made of high-strength, wear-resistant ceramic composite steel pipes or stainless steel pipes, which are not prone to corrosion.
Each filter blade is secured with a pressure plate, featuring bolts made of stainless steel to prevent rust and ensure easy disassembly.
6. The mixer employs a PTFE seal ring, featuring a multi-composite seal with water-tight and imported packing gland, achieving the purpose of no leakage of minerals. According to the particle size of the material, a dual-composite form of mechanical and air stirring or a single choice method is adopted to overcome the phenomenon of material sedimentation.
7. The control disk and friction disk are made of high-wear-resistant boron phosphorus cast iron. The control disk features a involute form air passage. The disks are lubricated with yellow grease, offering a balance of flexibility and rigidity, excellent sealing, and a lifespan of over three years.
8. Multi-point automatic lubrication of the dry oil pump ensures the normal operation of the equipment.
9. As a filtering medium, filter cloth accumulates residue in its surface capillary pores after use, which affects its filtering properties. Only regular high-pressure cleaning can ensure the filter cloth maintains good permeability. Our company's filter machines are equipped with an automatic filter cloth cleaning device. The filter cloth is cleaned at all times, allowing for continuous operation and cleaning. Additionally, the filter cloth is regeneratively reused with hot water and alkaline solution to maintain excellent permeability and effective product dehydration.
10. Utilizes variable-frequency speed control to adjust according to the concentration and flow rate of the material, achieving ideal working performance.
