ABS pipe is a commonly used engineering plastic pipe material, featuring the following characteristics:

Excellent mechanical properties

- High strength and toughness: ABS pipes combine rigidity and impact resistance, able to withstand significant external forces without easy breakage, particularly suitable for low-temperature environments (-40℃ to 80℃).

Good pressure resistance: working pressure can reach above 1.0 MPa, suitable for medium and low-pressure pipeline systems.

2. Chemical-resistant

Excellent corrosion resistance to chemicals such as acids, alkalis, salts, and oils; suitable for industrial wastewater and chemical reagent transportation applications.

3. Lightweight and easy to install

- Weighs just 1/8th of galvanized steel pipe. Easy to handle and install, with various connection methods (adhesive, flange, threaded, etc.), ensuring high installation efficiency.

4. Excellent fluid characteristics

- Smooth inner wall, low friction resistance, non-adhesive, minimal flow loss, suitable for conveying liquids or gases.

5. Weather resistance and temperature adaptability

Exceptional low-temperature performance (-40℃ maintains toughness), but may age when exposed to UV rays or high temperatures (>80℃) for extended periods; avoid direct sunlight.

6. Electrical Insulation

Non-conductive, suitable for wire and cable protective sheath.

7. Environmental Protection & Sanitation

ABS pipes meeting drinking water standards can be used for potable water systems; however, it is crucial to ensure that the material contains no toxic additives.

Economic viability

Cost lower than metal piping, with a long lifespan (20~50 years) and low maintenance fees.

Be aware of the shortcomings

- Resistant to strong oxidizing acids and some organic solvents.

- Susceptible to deformation at high temperatures; avoid use in high-temperature steam pipelines.
