Technical Requirements
Titanium and titanium alloy bars should comply with the chemical composition requirements of GB/T 3620.1. When subject to repeated testing, the permissible deviations in chemical composition should adhere to the specifications of GB/T 3620.2.
The diameter or edge length of the hot-rolled bar material, along with its allowable deviation, should comply with the specifications in Table 1.
After hot processing and turning (grinding) the rod materials, as well as cold rolling and cold drawing, the diameter tolerance of the rod materials should comply with the specifications in Table Two.
After hot processing and turning (grinding) the rod materials, their out-of-roundness should not exceed half of their size tolerance.
The random length of processed bar steel is 300-6000mm, while the annealed bar steel has a random length of 300-2000mm. The fixed or multiple lengths should be within the random length range. The fixed length allowance is +20mm; for multiple lengths, the cutting allowance of the bar should also be considered, with each cut being 5mm. The fixed or multiple length should be specified in the contract.
