YD-9000Circuit Breaker Mechanical Characteristics Online Monitoring

Circuit breakers in switch cabinets are equipment with frequent mechanical and electrical operations, prone to malfunctions and accidents during operation, leading to significant economic losses. The online status monitoring technology of circuit breakers is one of the key technologies to improve the reliability of transmission and distribution equipment. By monitoring the online status of circuit breakers, one can实时 grasp the operating conditions of the circuit breakers, enabling the extraction of mechanical motion parameters, establishment of standard monitoring models, and analysis, diagnosis, and evaluation of collected data, thereby enhancing the safe operation capability of switch cabinets.

YD-9000The Circuit Breaker Mechanical Characteristic Online Monitoring System is a device developed by YuanDong Power for the online monitoring of the mechanical characteristics of conventional AC/DC switchgear circuit breakers. The device monitors and analyzes the current of the circuit breaker's opening and closing coils, the switching moment of the main contactor status, and the current of the energy storage motor, thereby enabling the real-time monitoring and evaluation of the circuit breaker's current mechanical characteristics, providing a scientific basis for the maintenance and repair of circuit breaker status.

 System Workflow

(1)     Monitor the front-end control current transformers and Hall sensors to collect the operating current of the circuit breaker's opening and closing coils, energy storage motor current, three-phase current start-up characteristics, and other parameters.

(2)     The monitoring front-end transmits monitoring data to the multifunctional monitoring device wirelessly or via cable (as per customer requirements), where the device analyzes the data to generate monitoring results (graphs and data) for on-site display.

(3)     The multi-functional monitoring device uploads the monitoring results to the backend data center for storage and forwarding (data can be forwarded to the user's display control platform or other platforms as per user requirements).

(4)     Front-end monitoring adopted485Data interaction with multi-functional monitoring devices is achieved via communication or fiber optics (or other wireless methods). The multi-functional monitoring devices interact with the back-end data server through wired means (Ethernet cable or fiber optics). The back-end data server communicates with the user's internal network (wired or wireless) in a standard data format (usually).61850Upload data to the user platform.
