JSHType Lightning Arrester Online Monitor (Surge Arrester Leakage Current and Operation Recorder)This instrument is used in conjunction with zinc oxide surge arresters in high-voltage AC power systems and is connected in series with the surge arrester's grounding circuit. The milliammeter within the monitor is used to measure the leakage current (peak) through the surge arrester under operating voltage, enabling the detection of internal dampness in the surge arrester and any abnormality in the components; the soiling gauge is used to measure the magnitude of soiling current on the external surface of the surge arrester's porcelain casing (which is also the level of soiling); the operating counter records the number of overvoltage operations of the surge arrester. During rainy or humid weather, the leakage current on the external surface of the porcelain casing enters the monitor's milliammeter simultaneously, causing the milliammeter to inaccurately reflect the internal and external issues of the surge arrester when the leakage current in the porcelain casing is high. Therefore, we have added a soiling gauge to the monitor, fitted a shielding ring at the bottom of the porcelain casing, separated the external leakage current from the surge arrester's leakage current simultaneously, and reflected the external insulation soiling level on the soiling gauge, making ourJSHType Monitor is more sophisticated.
