A total of 30 parking lots have been opened and shared throughout the year, adding 6,000 new parking spaces to alleviate the parking difficulties.

    The Shixia Village in Futian District, Fobao Street, where this event was held, boasts a history of over 600 years and is home to many indigenous residents. After the reform and opening-up, many builders who came to Shenzhen to settle have kept the village's population high. Especially since around 1993, people from You County, Hunan, have been moving to Shixia Village in droves, with most making a living by driving taxis. The You County residents of Shixia Village own over 1,000 taxis, earning it a reputation as the "Taxi Village" far and wide.

    The increasing number of taxis and private cars owned by residents has exacerbated the parking problem in Shidaxian Village. The haphazard parking not only narrows the already narrow roads but also frequently blocks fire lanes, posing significant safety hazards. Addressing the parking issue has become an urgent priority for Shidaxian Village.

    Therefore, Shishaxian Village has become one of the first communities in Shenzhen's urban villages to explore the establishment of intelligent multi-level parking garages. This vertical lifting parking building, constructed by Cimc Intelligent Logistics under the Cimc Group, spans approximately 231.8 square meters and consists of 10 floors. It features SUV and sedan parking spaces, totaling 90, with a vehicle retrieval speed of 60 seconds, accommodating around 300 vehicles per day, achieving a parking turnover rate of 300%, effectively alleviating the "hard to find a parking spot" predicament in urban villages.

    The Shishu Tower, a relic of an era in the Shishu Village, was constructed in the early years of the Republic of China, boasting nearly a century of history. In 2001, the Shishu Tower was designated as a district-level cultural relic protection site by the Futian District Government of Shenzhen. Due to limited space in the city's village, the location was chosen adjacent to the Shishu Tower.

    The She Xia Fortified Building, a treasured cultural heritage of the area, required a customized design approach for the construction of this garage, balancing the responsibility of preserving the cultural relic.
