Steam Boiler Introduction

Steam boilers can be categorized by fuel type into electric steam boilers, oil-fired steam boilers, gas steam boilers, and more. They can also be divided by fuel supply method into manual combustion steam boilers and fully automatic chain combustion steam boilers. In terms of construction, they are classified as vertical steam boilers and horizontal steam boilers. Small steam boilers are mostly single or double-passage vertical structures, while large steam boilers are typically three-passage horizontal structures.

Steam boilers refer to boiler equipment designed for producing steam, which are classified as special equipment. Their design, production, shipment, and installation must undergo inspection by the national technical supervision department. Users must obtain a boiler operation permit before operating a boiler. Unlike atmospheric pressure boilers, steam boilers must be shipped with boiler documents, which include the boiler body drawing, installation drawing, instrument valve drawing, pipeline drawing, and inspection certificate of conformity, among others.
