Screw Evaporator Working Principle
The scraper evaporator's outer shell features a heating steam jacket, inside which are rotating blades, or scrapers. These scrapers come in fixed and rotor styles; the former have a gap of 0.5 to 1.5mm with the inner wall of the shell, while the latter gap varies with the rotor's speed. The feed liquid is added along the tangent direction at the top of the scraper evaporator (or to a spinner disk coaxial with the scrapers). Due to gravity, centrifugal force, and the scraping action of the rotating blades, a downward spiral film forms on the inner wall of the vessel, which is then evaporated and concentrated during this process, with the liquid exiting at the bottom. This evaporator is a single-pass type that utilizes external power for film formation.

Screw Evaporator Features
1. The scraper evaporator boasts high efficiency and capacity, with a evaporation rate of 100-300 Kg/h for solutions like water and organic solvents.

7. The scraper evaporator is equipped with a quick-release cover on the top for easy cleaning of the heating tubes. Light holes and a viewing window are installed on both sides of the top for convenient observation during operation.

Screw Evaporator Application Range
Screw evaporators are used in industries such as oil and petrochemicals, suitable for high-viscosity materials (such as gum, honey, etc.) and those prone to crystallization, scaling, and thermal sensitivity.
