The screw jack, also known as a spiral jack, is an indispensable piece of modern industrial equipment. Due to its rigidity, precise positioning, low noise, easy installation, minimal maintenance time, and long service life, the screw jack has been widely applied in various fields such as metallurgy, water conservancy, and mining, and is used to replace hydraulic and pneumatic lifting devices. Due to insufficient understanding of the product or negligence during the installation process, both the screw jack and the equipment may be damaged. Therefore, attention should be paid to the following during installation: 1. If a base is required, calibrate the centerline elevation during installation; when connecting couplings, align the coaxiality. For flexible coupling connections, the allowable float should not exceed the coupling's permitted range. During the installation of the screw jack, ensure that the screw is perpendicular to the installation surface, and prohibit any lateral forces from being applied to the screw. 3. When designing and installing the lifting cage, consider the rigidity of the worm gear housing under static and impact loads, and install it reasonably. 4. During the installation of the elevator, guide devices should be reasonably installed based on the on-site conditions. 5. The worm gear box of the elevator is securely mounted on the equipment, preventing loosening and vibration. 6. Prior to assembly of the elevator and power source, check the deviation dimensions of all shaft diameters, bore diameters, keys, and keyways. 7. When using a direct motor-connected elevator, if the motor is excessively heavy, a support device should be installed. 8. When installing sprockets, gears, and other transmission parts onto shafts, position them as close to the bearings as possible to minimize bending stress on the shaft extension. 9.
