A saddle support refers to a supporting structure where the plastic plate is locally bonded to the horizontal container, forming a saddle shape. It is mainly composed of saddle pads, web plates, stiffeners, and bottom plates, all welded together. To enhance the circumferential rigidity and strength of the cylinder, a circular reinforcing ring is set at the saddle section or nearby when necessary. The main loads include medium pressure, bending moments caused by weight, and the reaction forces of the saddle. The large load-bearing sections are located at the saddle and between the two saddles. Double saddle supports are commonly used to ensure even load distribution.
