Through-put shot blasting machine

A shot blast machine is a casting equipment that uses high-speed pellets ejected by a shot blaster to clean or strengthen the surface of castings. It can simultaneously perform sand removal, core removal, and cleaning on castings. In some areas, it is also colloquially referred to as a sanding machine or sandblasting machine.

The shot blasting machine is a surface treatment technique that uses a blast pot to rapidly propel steel shot or steel grit against the surface of materials. Compared to other surface treatment methods, it is faster, more effective, and can be used in partial retention or after stamping processes.

The shot blasting machine can also be used to remove burrs, diaphragms, and rust, which may affect the integrity, appearance, or definition of an object's parts. It can also remove surface contaminants from the coated surface of a part, providing a surface profile that increases the adhesion of the coating, thereby strengthening the workpiece.

The shot blast machine differs from the sandblasting machine in that it is used to reduce the fatigue life of parts by increasing different surface stresses, enhancing the strength of components, or preventing micro-movement.
