Renault Pad Brief Introduction
Reno pads, also known as gabion pads or stone basket pads, are engineering components in the shape of pads, with a thickness much smaller than their length and width, made from machine-woven double twisted hexagonal metal mesh. After filling with stones and other materials, they are connected into a single unit, primarily used as erosion-resistant structures for hydraulic embankments, riverbanks, sea walls, etc., and possess the advantages of flexibility and adaptability to the foundation.
The Renault Retaining Pad is a woven cage structure with a thickness ranging from 0.17 to 0.3 meters, used on-site for filling with stones. Primarily employed as a retaining structure for riverbanks, embankments, and road embankment slopes. It not only prevents riverbanks from being eroded by water currents and waves but also facilitates natural convection exchange between the water body and the soil below the slope, achieving ecological balance. The difference between Reno Mattresses and Gabion and Stone笼Cages lies in the lower height of the mattresses, which have a flat and large structural form. The diameter of the galvanized steel wire is thinner than that of the Gabion, usually available in double partition (wire diameter 2.0mm) and single partition (2.2mm) options. The double partition Reno Mattresses are commonly used, offering advantages such as easy construction, effective prevention of rock collapse when used as slope protection, and increased erosion resistance of the structure.
