I. Overview

Safety valve silencers, suitable for effectively silencing high-pressure steam emissions in industries such as power, chemicals, and metallurgy, for safety valves, PCV valves, safety gates, and exhaust valves. For boiler safety valves and exhaust valves, it can be considered an integral part of the piping system. After acoustic treatment internally, it can significantly reduce noise generation and transmission, achieving a noise reduction of 20-90 decibels with a noticeable effect on the subjective perception.

Section II: Design

Designing an exhaust silencer for safety valves requires consideration of the following three aspects:

1. The noise reduction volume meets the requirements of the "Industrial Enterprise Noise Hygiene Standards."

2. The muffler should be rust-proof, clog-resistant, high-temperature, high-pressure, high-airflow, and corrosion-resistant.

3. The exhaust volume and blockage ratio of the muffler should be compatible with the smooth expulsion of steam flow from the safety valve.

III. Principle

The new safety valve exhaust silencer utilizes the noise reduction principle of through-hole spray and resistance, replacing the micro-porous plate type with large-hole expansion to control flow. Structurally, it ensures that the exhaust of the safety door must be smooth. It incorporates multi-level perforated sound absorption and combines the resistance noise reduction principle, allowing steam sound waves to enter the countless small holes of the porous sound-absorbing material, exciting the vibration of the porous material molecules. This causes the sound energy to convert into heat as it overcomes frictional resistance and viscosity, thereby achieving ideal noise reduction while ensuring the smooth expulsion of steam.

1. Steam discharge capacity (T/h), pressure, temperature of the safety valve.

2. Exhaust pipe outer diameter, wall thickness;

3. Structure options include small-hole or anti-spray-resistant composite.

General users prefer composite silencers for their excellent sound absorption, featuring stainless steel internally and carbon steel for the shell. The connection can be either welded or flanged. The base can be selected in leg or ear type structures.
