I. Usage

The Condenser Ball Cleaning Device is an equipment designed for effective cleaning of condenser cooling tubes. The performance of this device directly affects the cleanliness of the condenser and its heat transfer efficiency. It is an indispensable device for enhancing user economy and ensuring the safe operation of the condenser. The ball cleaning device consists of secondary filter, ball collection net, ball storage room, ball conveying pump, and electrical control cabinet, among other components.

III. Working Principle

Select the appropriate sponge rubber balls, with a wet diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the cooling tubes (about 1-2mm) and a wet density similar to water. Place the balls in the ball chamber, with a quantity equal to about 10% of the number of copper tubes in the condenser's water inlet. Then, start the ball pump and open the ball valves at both ends of the system. The balls will be carried into the condenser water chamber by the water flow at a slightly higher pressure at the water intake. Due to their multi-porous, soft, and elastic nature, the balls are compressed through the cooling tubes under the pressure difference at the water intake, scrubbing the inner diameter of the tubes. This action removes dirt from the tube walls, which is then carried away with the water flow. The balls, along with the circulating water, enter the ball collection net, where they are separated by the net plate and pumped back to the ball chamber by the ball pump, thus continuously and automatically cleaning the condenser cooling tubes in a cyclic process.
