Mortar Mix

All mortar applied to the surface of buildings or building components is collectively referred to as plaster mortar. Depending on the function of the plaster mortar, it can be divided into ordinary plaster mortar, decorative plaster mortar, and plaster mortar with certain special functions (such as waterproofing mortar, thermal insulation mortar, sound-absorbing mortar, and acid-resistant mortar, etc.). Plaster mortar is required to have good workability, easy to apply as a uniform and smooth thin layer, and convenient for construction. It should also have high adhesion, ensuring that the mortar layer can bond firmly with the substrate without cracking or peeling over a long period. In damp environments or areas prone to external forces (such as floors and baseboards), it should also possess high water resistance and strength.
