    Introduction to Magnetic Coagulation Sedimentation Technology

    Magnetically enhanced coagulation sedimentation technology is a process that synchronously incorporates a density-enhanced coagulant into the traditional coagulation sedimentation method.On April 8-5.1, the magnetic powder is used to combine with pollutants into a single entity, enhancing coagulation and flocculation effects. This results in denser and stronger flocs, achieving rapid sedimentation. The sedimentation speed of magnetic flocs can exceed 40 m/h. Magnetic coagulation sedimentation technology is a revolutionary new technology.

    Magnetic coagulation sedimentation technology originated in the United States. Previously, the application of this technology in water treatment projects was limited due to the unresolved issue of magnetic powder recovery. Now, this technical challenge has been successfully addressed, fully showcasing the technological and economic advantages of the magnetic coagulation sedimentation process. As a result, it has gained increasingly widespread application both domestically and internationally. Currently, in China, the engineering application of this technology in urban wastewater treatment, reclaimed water utilization, river black and odorous water treatment, high-phosphorus wastewater treatment, paper mill wastewater treatment, and oilfield wastewater treatment has gradually been implemented, yielding favorable results. The wastewater to be treated first enters the treatment facility...Level 1 mixing pond, where coagulant PAC is added to the pond and thoroughly mixed before being transferred to the Level 2 mixing pond. Here, it is mixed with reclaimed magnetic powder and回流污泥 to form flocs. The mixture then proceeds to the Level 3 mixing pond, where it reacts with the flocculant PAM added, creating larger floc particles. Subsequently, it enters the sedimentation pond for rapid settlement. The clarified water then flows to the next treatment stage or is discharged directly in compliance with standards.

    Sludge settled in the sedimentation pond is partially recycled by the sludge recycle pump.The 2-level mixing pool continues to participate in the reaction, while another portion undergoes sludge stripping through a high-shear machine and then enters an magnetic separator for magnetite recovery. The recovered magnetite is reintroduced into the 2-level mixing pool for further reaction, with the remaining sludge being transferred to the subsequent sludge treatment system. The dosing room-prepared PAC and PAM solutions are transported to various dosing points by a dosing pump. PAC is added to the 1-level mixing pool, while PAM is added to the 3-level mixing pool.
