Basic Construction: The fundamental construction of the centrifugal pump consists of six main parts: impeller, pump housing, shaft, bearings, seal ring, and packing box.

Impeller

The impeller is a critical component of the centrifugal pump, featuring high speed and powerful force. The blades on the impeller play a major role. The impeller must undergo a static balance test before assembly. The inner and outer surfaces of the impeller must be smooth to minimize frictional losses in water flow.









Pump shaft

The shaft of the pump serves to connect the motor via a coupling, transferring the motor's torque to the impeller, making it the primary component for transmitting mechanical energy.


Pipe centrifugal pump bearing

It is a component that fits on the pump shaft to support it, available in two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings. Rolling bearings use cow oil as the lubricant, and it should be added appropriately, generally 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume: too much can cause heat, and too little will produce noise and heat! Sliding bearings use transparent oil as the lubricant, and it should be filled to the oil level line. Too much oil will leak along the pump shaft and be wasted, and too little will overheat the bearing, potentially causing damage and accidents! During the operation of the water pump, the bearing temperature typically runs around 60 degrees, with an average of 85 degrees. If it exceeds this, the cause should be investigated (for impurities, blackening of oil quality, or water intrusion) and addressed promptly!

 

Seal Ring

Also known as a leakage ring. Excessive gap between the impeller inlet and the pump casing can cause water in the high-pressure area of the pump to flow through this gap to the low-pressure area, affecting the pump's output and efficiency! Too small a gap can cause friction and wear between the impeller and the pump casing. To increase backflow resistance, reduce internal leakage, and extend the service life of the impeller and pump casing, a sealing ring is installed at the junction of the pump casing inner edge and the impeller outer edge, with the sealed gap maintained between 0.25 to 1.10 mm.

Filling Case

Primarily composed of packing, water seal rings, packing sleeves, packing cover, and water seal pipes. The function of the packing box is mainly to seal the gap between the pump housing and the pump shaft, preventing water inside the pump from leaking out and external air from entering the pump. Always maintain a vacuum inside the pump! When friction between the pump shaft and packing generates heat, the water seal pipe channels water into the water seal ring to cool the packing! Ensuring the normal operation of the pump. Therefore, during the pump's operational routine inspections, special attention should be paid to checking the packing box. It's recommended to replace the packing after approximately 600 hours of operation.

Applicable

Vertical hot water pumps are suitable for metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, wood processing, papermaking, as well as for high-temperature hot water boosting and circulation in boilers for restaurants, bathrooms, hotels, and urban housing heating systems. The operating temperature is below 120℃.

3. Vertical PipelineChemical PumpSuitable for conveying liquids that do not contain solid particles, are corrosive, and have a viscosity similar to water, this product is applicable to sectors such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electricity, papermaking, food, and synthetic fibers. The operating temperature range is -20℃ to 120℃.

Installation Notice

(1) The base surface for installation must be flat, clean, and capable of supporting the corresponding load; (2) Anchor bolts must be used at the required fixing points.

(3) For vertically installed pumps, the foundation bolts must be of sufficient strength.

(4) If vertically installed, the motor must be above the pump.

(5) When mounting on the wall, ensure proper alignment and centering.
