Firstly, the entire length of the welded steel plate silo seams should be visually inspected by a dedicated welding inspector from the Quality Control Department. The visual inspection is conducted using a welding steel plate silo seam gauge and a 5x magnifying glass. The dimensions and appearance quality of the焊接钢板仓焊缝(welded steel plate silo seams) must comply with the factory standard Q/FCJ003-86. Upon passing the visual inspection of the焊接钢板仓焊缝(welded steel plate silo seams), the branch factory shall submit a quality inspection request form to the Quality Control Department based on the drawings and process cards specifying the internal quality inspection requirements for the焊接钢板仓焊缝(welded steel plate silo seams). The Quality Control Department will then conduct an internal quality check, as specified in the branch factory's submitted internal quality inspection request form for the焊接钢板仓焊缝(welded steel plate silo seams).

For the same part number, the weld seam number of the assembled steel plate silo is Wm-n (m = part number; n = the nth weld seam of the assembled steel plate silo). For the weld seam of two connected steel plate silos, the weld seam number is W(1 m)-n (1, m = part number;
Weld seam on component 2, the first lap of the welded steel plate silo for item 2 should be numbered as W2-1, and the second weld seam on components 1 and 2 should be numbered as:
Internal quality inspection of the welds in the steel plate silo should be conducted 24 hours after the welding of the steel plate silo is completed.
The internal quality of the welds in the welded steel storage silos is inspected and accepted according to the design drawings and process cards. When the drawings and process cards are unclear, inspections and acceptances are generally conducted according to the following requirements:
Welded steel plate silo seams are classified according to GB11345-89B Grade I, with a check scope of 60% of the seam length; for Class II welded steel plate silo seams, they are classified according to GB11345-89B Grade II, with a check scope of 40% of the seam length.
If the current welding inspection of the steel plate storage tank is不合格, supplementary inspections should be conducted in the direction of extension or suspicious areas where unallowed defects are found. If the supplementary inspection is also不合格, a full check of the welding seam of the steel plate storage tank should be performed.
Workpieces to be heat treated after welding, the internal quality of the welding seams in steel plate silos shall be assessed based on their condition after heat treatment. Unless the process card explicitly states that no sampling inspection of the internal quality of the welding seams in the steel plate silos is required after heat treatment,
After heat treatment, weld seams of general grade 1 and 2 steel plate silos should be inspected within 20% of the length of the weld seam for internal quality sampling. If the sampling does not meet the requirements,
Supplementary inspections should be conducted in the extension direction or suspicious areas of locations with unallowed defects. If the supplementary inspection is not up to standard, the entire weld seam of the welding steel plate silo should be checked.
