EMS is one of the leading suppliers of shielding materials in the industry, with their electromagnetic shielding and conductive materials covering nearly all related application fields. Finger spring washers are a common type of metal shielding gasket, which can be structurally divided into adhesive and clip-on styles. Adhesive products are typically more suitable for installation in narrow spaces, but in some special application environments, such as high-temperature conditions, adhesive products are no longer suitable due to the temperature sensitivity of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. In response to this, EMS has developed a series of edge clip-on products specifically designed to address these unique application needs.

E密斯' Edge Card-Mounted Finger Spring Series, all made of beryllium copper, boasts exceptional mechanical and electrical properties, with high tensile strength and excellent conductivity, and a wide temperature range of application. The surface of the metal spring can also be treated with various electroplating processes as required, such as zinc chromate, bright nickel, bright tin, etc., to meet the customer's electroplating compatibility needs. Figure 1 shows a standard edge card-mounted finger spring product, which is applicable to card mounting panel thicknesses of 0.5-1.7mm. Additionally, the series offers various structural variations, such as T-shaped contacts, D-shaped contacts, and reverse card mounting, etc. Therefore, in addition to the standard structure, there are many variation structures available in this series. The following introduces several commonly used variation edge card-mounted finger spring series.

Figure 4 depicts the improved edge card-mounted finger spring, primarily used for applications where panel installation and mating surfaces are misaligned. The curved mating surface extends a certain distance from the installation end, allowing for contact installation with mating surfaces at a greater distance.
