Secondly, the limitations of the installation space should be taken into account. If space is limited, excessive compression may not be achievable.

    In electronic devices, if an extremely low contact resistance is required and space permits, a larger compression amount can be chosen. For small devices with strict size requirements, the compression amount should be minimized while still meeting the contact requirements. Additionally, the material and elastic properties of the spring clip must be considered. The optimal compression range varies depending on the material and design of the spring clip. Generally, for ground spring clips in common small electronic devices, a compression amount between 10% and 30% of their free height is likely appropriate.
