1. Molding: Produce various spherical blanks using various manufacturing techniques.
2. Grinding: Place the spherical blank into a grinding disc that matches the blank's size, which features two concentric annular rings with multiple identical sizes and a triangular cross-sectional grinding groove. Add oil and coarse abrasive material; the upper grinding disc rotates while the lower one remains stationary. Such a ball mill is known as a coarse grinding mill. Depending on requirements, coarse grinding can consist of multiple stages.
3. Cleaning: After each coarse grinding, the oil and coarse abrasive residue adhering to the ball surface must be thoroughly washed off.
4. Fine Grinding: Place the rough ground blanks into the fine grinding machine; add low-viscosity oil and fine grinding material, grind to the standard size.

5. Polishing: The process is similar to coarse and fine grinding. Afterward, it undergoes heat treatment, with some receiving shot peening and others not. The final step is polishing, typically using a combination of honing and polishing fluid. This results in the creation of bearing steel balls.
