Experimental Bench Control System: Main Functions and Design Scheme
1. Utilizing a closed-loop control system, we collect operational information through sensors and other data acquisition systems. The collected data is then input into a computer via a data acquisition card, where it is displayed and calculated according to control requirements. The control signals are output, processed by the data acquisition card into signals recognizable by the actuator, and finally, system control is achieved through the actuator's action.
2. Utilizing a centralized computer control system, with PLC as the hardware and the WINDOWS system as the software platform. During the signal collection process, we gather both digital and analog signals. Therefore, we first need to convert the analog signals collected into digital signals that the PLC can process. After processing by the PLC, a portion of the output signals must be converted back to analog signals for controlling the experimental bench. This requires both A/D and D/A conversions. Hence, an integrated data acquisition card that facilitates both A/D and D/A conversions is necessary.
