Main Functions and Design Scheme of the Lab Bench Control System:
1. Utilizing a closed-loop control system, operational information is collected through sensors and other acquisition systems. The collected data is then input into a computer via a data acquisition card, where it is displayed and calculated according to control requirements. Subsequently, control signals are output, processed by the data acquisition card into signals recognizable by actuating elements, and finally, system control is achieved through the actuation of these elements.
2. Our system utilizes a centralized computer control system, with PLC hardware and a WINDOWS software platform. During the signal collection process, we gather both digital and analog signals. Therefore, we must first convert the collected analog signals into digital signals that the PLC can process. After processing by the PLC, some of the output signals are then converted back into analog signals to control the experimental table. This requires both A/D and D/A conversions. Thus, we employ a data acquisition card that integrates both functionalities to perform the necessary A/D and D/A conversions.
