How can one prevent the occurrence of clogging in a fiber disc filter rod?
1. Perform steam blow cleaning at the appropriate time.
2. Standard microporous filter rods should be equipped with backflush water, meaning the backflushing is done from the center of the rod outward to wash away the material adhering to the rod.
3. The fiber disc filter is equipped with pressure gauges at both the inlet and outlet. The pressure differential is used to determine if the filter element is clogged. Once the resistance increases to a certain level, regeneration is required. First, use air to backflush and blow out the material, followed by a water rinse, or a better effect can be achieved with a gas-water mixture. If water cannot be introduced, only air is available. As for steam, or filter cores and filter housing made of metal materials, there is no issue with temperature resistance and they are acceptable. However, for PP or PE materials, steam cannot be used.
