In industrial production, a variety of materials require filtration, and the filtration conditions for these materials vary greatly. Therefore, selecting an appropriate fiber disc filter is quite complex, involving many factors. The following are the main elements to consider when choosing a filtration device:
1. Filtration characteristics of the suspension.
Before selecting a filtration equipment, it is essential to have a clear understanding of the material conditions that need to be filtered during production. Determine the concentration of the suspension and the particle size distribution of the solid particles, and then initially judge the type of filtration equipment to be used based on these measurements.
2. Processing Capacity
Large quantities of materials need to be filtered during the production process, making continuous or automated filter machines a better choice. For smaller material volumes, intermittent operation is generally more economical.
3. Filtration Purpose.
After filtration, some are recovered valuable solids, some are purified filtrate, and some balance both.
4. Filter machine structure and material.
If the filtrate is not highly corrosive, the material requirement for a fiber disc filter should not be overly stringent, otherwise the cost will be high. In terms of structure, it's best to opt for a model with a simple design to avoid difficulties in maintenance.
