Belt Filter Press

Detailed description
The concentrated sludge, mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in a static and dynamic mixer, results in the aggregation of fine solid particles in the sludge into larger floc clumps, while separating free water. The flocculated sludge is then conveyed to the concentration gravity dewatering filter belt, where, under gravity, the free water is separated, forming a stationary sludge mass. It is subsequently held between two belt conveyors, compressed gradually through a wedge-shaped pre-pressure zone, low-pressure zone, and high-pressure zone by increasing pressures and shearing forces, achieving a degree of sludge-water separation, and finally forming a filter cake that is discharged.

Working Principle and Dewatering Process
The concentrated sludge, mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in a static and dynamic mixer, is fully mixed. The fine solid particles in the sludge coagulate into larger floc aggregates, while free water is separated. The flocculated sludge is then transported to the filter belt of the thickening gravity dewatering, where free water is separated under gravity, forming a non-flowing sludge. It is then held between two wire belts, passing through a wedge-shaped pre-compression zone, a low-pressure zone, and a high-pressure zone, subjected to increasing pressure and shearing forces from small to large. This gradually squeezes the sludge to achieve a degree of mud-water separation, forming a filter cake that is discharged.
