Control indicators for the small anaerobic tower:
1. Redox Potential: This method utilizes the determination of redox potential to assess whether the multiple redox component systems within the small anaerobic tower are in a balanced state. Although this method has poor stability, the simplicity of redox potential measurement, when combined with other monitoring indicators, holds significant guidance value.
2. Propionate to acetate concentration ratio: If the organic load in the small anaerobic tower exceeds the normal range, the ratio of propionate to acetate concentrations will increase before any other operating parameters change. Therefore, the ratio of propionate to acetate concentrations can be used as a sensitive and stable warning indicator for abnormal operation caused by the load in the small anaerobic tower.
