Detailed Description
A desulfurization tower is a tower-type equipment for desulfurizing industrial waste gases. Widely used in construction with granite, it operates on the principle of water film desulfurization and dust removal, also known as granite water film desulfurization and dust removal unit, or limestone water film desulfurization and dust removal unit.
Advantages include ease of maintenance and the ability to achieve both dust removal and desulfurization (denitrification) through the use of different dust removal agents. With the advancement of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) technology, desulfurization towers are increasingly being manufactured using GFRP. Compared to granite desulfurization towers, GFRP towers are cost-effective, easy to process, resistant to corrosion and decay, and lightweight, making them a trending choice for future desulfurization tower development. Additionally, 316L stainless steel boasts three major advantages: corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and wear resistance, which is also a significant trend in desulfurization tower development. After years of improvement, various types of desulfurization towers have emerged, such as Venturi, cyclone plate, cyclone column, float ball, sieve plate, and pneumatic emulsion types, with increasingly mature equipment technology. Each type has its own merits and drawbacks, allowing enterprises to choose according to their specific needs.
