Detailed description
A drum filter is a mechanical device that utilizes gravity or pressure difference to allow suspended solids to pass through a porous medium, thereby retaining solid particles and achieving solid-liquid separation in the suspension.
Filter medium range: 10~1000μm, applicable to drinking water pretreatment, cooling water systems, wastewater quality improvement, pre-filtration devices before membrane treatment sections, fishery water purification, and various other industries.

Structural working principle
Wastewater flows into the hollow drum, gravity pulls it out from the inside to the outside through the filter screen, and the suspended solids are retained on the inside of the stainless steel filter screen. The drum rotates slowly. The backwash pump draws the filtered effluent to backwash the screen. The flushing water is directed through the nozzles at the top of the drum, from outside to inside, to clean the screen. The particles washed off are collected in the backwash water collection sump and then discharged from the equipment via the drain pipes.

The equipment can operate normally when the water quality of the incoming water has a silt density index (SDI) not exceeding 40 mg/L.
3. Low head loss
Headloss less than 30 cm.
4. Excellent processing effect
Inlet water quality SS less than 20 mg/L, outlet water quality SS less than 10 mg/L.
5. Compact land area
In the same water treatment volume, the footprint of the drum filter equipment is significantly smaller than that of other filtration process equipment.
6. Low water consumption for rinsing
Impurities are not easily deposited on the filter mesh, and high-pressure water cleaning can easily remove impurities.
7. Low operating energy consumption
Energy consumption less than 1/4 of similar filters.
