Lu Long Jiajia Building Materials' Cement Products for Curbing Installation: Requirements for Construction

Curbing is being constructed with hanging lines, ensuring the side and top plane heights are marked and tightly stretched. Side curbing stones are laid according to the line, with the stones properly aligned, avoiding any forward or backward tilt. The side top line should be straight, smooth, and even, without any uneven or misaligned teeth. The plane should not have any up-and-down or in-and-out misalignment.

2. Curbing should be constructed with dense grout, strictly prohibiting grout filling.

The curbstone joints are misaligned by no more than 1mm; the side stones and flat stones are evenly staggered in the middle.

4. Curbing side slabs should ensure the dimensions and smoothness meet the design requirements. The appearance should be aesthetically pleasing. For the curving sections, the side slabs should be specially processed to match the design radius. During construction, ensure the lines are smooth, rounded, and joints are tight. The arched side slabs should be hand-finished and polished after artificial carving.

The back of the curbstone should be filled with compacted soil, with a width of not less than 50mm and a thickness of not less than 15mm.

6. Curbing Jointing: During jointing, hang the line again, clean out debris inside the side stone joints, moisten with water, and then fill and level the joints with 1:2.5 cement mortar.

7. After side flat stone is grouted and installed, water should be applied for proper maintenance.
