Fiberglass, as the name implies, is a material composed of resin, glass fiber, and talc powder. The production process is roughly as follows: mold making or cutting foam, then create a mold (negative mold), cast the fiberglass, wash the surface with caustic soda water, grind, apply primer, fill holes, sand, and paint. Specific process: clay modeling, which requires造型 ability and spatial awareness. Mold making involves positioning the clay model for assembly, which requires experience; the key is to ensure there are no locking positions to prevent the mold from being impossible to remove. Locate the assembly line, insert PVC sheets into the assembly line, and create a split mold to divide the clay model into two or more parts. The mold material is typically gypsum powder, white gypsum powder, mixed with water, in a slightly thin consistency, not as thin as water. Use a multi-functional sprayer to spray the gypsum water onto the clay model, ensuring every position is covered, especially the bottom. The second layer should be thicker, applied without concern for aesthetics; a rough surface enhances adhesion. Then, using sisal fiber dipped in thick gypsum paste, spread it along the edges of the assembly, ensuring every position is covered and compacted. Uncovered areas will crack when the mold is opened. Next, construct a wooden frame to secure the mold for opening. After the gypsum dries completely, cut away the excess gypsum along the assembly line until the inserts are visible, and cut several triangular notches for assembly marks, then open the mold, and the mold is ready. For fiberglass, mix the resin with cobalt water slowly, add talc powder, with a 50/50 ratio of resin to talc powder; only a few spoonfuls of cobalt water are needed, and then add two spoonfuls of hardener, mix well. The resin can be a bit thicker and thinner, brush it into the mold, wait until 80% dry, apply a second coat, with more talc and a thicker consistency, and then attach pre-cut pieces of glass fiber cloth to every position. Apply a layer of resin without talc (which requires cobalt water and hardener) over it, wait until 70% dry, cut away the excess glass fiber outside the assembly line, as it can't be cut once dry. Then, apply a thick layer of resin along the assembly line, close the mold, wait for it to dry, open the mold, remove the fiberglass, and the job is complete. For the cast fiberglass, trim the assembly line, wash the surface with caustic soda water, grind if the texture needs to be retained. Spray a layer of white epoxy primer, fill in any small holes with putty. Then sand, and if the surface needs to be rough, skip sanding. Apply another layer of epoxy primer, then paint for effects, and finally spray a protective varnish to complete the fiberglass sculpture.玻璃钢雕塑7
