Cleaning Wet Baffle Fan Precautions

Wet-bulb evaporative fans cool air temperature through the circulation of water. The air often contains a significant amount of dust. Over time, the filter mesh of the wet-bulb evaporative fan should be cleaned regularly.

1. Disconnect the main power to the wet pad fan (remove the control panel to prevent any misoperation and potential danger).

Remove the screw from the filter screen, lift the screen upwards, then pull the bottom edge outward to remove the filter screen.

Be cautious when removing the wet curtain; soak and rinse it clean with plain water (no chemicals, to prevent corrosion, and avoid high water pressure to prevent damage to the curtain).

4. Cover the fan with a plastic bag, connect the tap water to the sprinkler pipe and cleaning port, and flush the sprinkler pipe with clean water in reverse.

5. Wash the base of the wet curtain fan with clean water.

6. Reinstall the wet pad back onto the main unit.

Reconnect the main power to the wet curtain fan and wait 5 minutes before proceeding with other operations. Note: Always wear a safety harness and ensure safety during high-altitude work.
