Rock Disintegration Index Tester Overview:
Many types of rocks, especially those high in clay content, tend to disintegrate and flake when repeatedly subjected to short-term wetting and drying cycles. This experiment simulates the natural wetting and drying process of rocks through artificial mechanical means. After two standard cycles (for harder rocks, three or more cycles may be required), the resistance of the rock samples to softening and disintegration is measured, which we refer to as the rock's resistance to disintegration.
Rock崩解性指数Determination Steps:
Select the sample properly, verify the sample name and number, and fill them into the record sheet.
2. Place the test pieces into the cylindrical sieve of the disintegration tester, dry them at a temperature of 105-110°C until a constant weight is achieved, then cool them in a desiccator to room temperature before weighing.
