Polyetherimide (PEI) is a super engineering plastic produced from amorphous polyetherimide, featuring high-temperature resistance, dimensional stability, and properties such as chemical resistance, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, high strength, and high rigidity. PEI resins are widely used in high-temperature terminals, IC bases, lighting equipment, FPCBs (flexible printed circuit boards), liquid transfer equipment, aircraft interior parts, medical devices, and household appliances.
Polysulfone (PPSU) resin is an amorphous thermoplastic material with high transparency and excellent hydrolytic stability. Products made from PPSU can withstand repeated steam sterilization. PPSU, also known as Polysulfone PPSU, is a product in the PSF series of Polysulfone plastics. It is a novel thermoplastic engineering plastic, referring to a high molecular compound containing sulfone groups and aromatic nuclei in its main molecular chain, and is non-crystalline.

ETFE fluoroplastic is sourced from DuPont (now Chemours) in the United States and Asahi Glass Company in Japan, primarily used for corrosion-resistant linings. This material boasts the corrosion resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene and also exhibits strong adhesion to metals, overcoming the non-stick nature of polytetrafluoroethylene to metals. With an average linear expansion coefficient close to that of carbon steel, ETFE (F-40) is an ideal composite material with metals, featuring excellent resistance to negative pressure. ETFE Material Properties: 1. Long-term use temperature: -80 to 220 degrees Celsius, with resistance to chemical corrosion, withstands all chemicals, low friction coefficient among plastics, and excellent electrical properties with insulating properties unaffected by temperature, known as the "King of Plastics." 2. Similar chemical resistance to polytetrafluoroethylene, with a preference for it. 3. Better resistance to creep and compression strength than polytetrafluoroethylene, with higher tensile strength and elongation up to 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent resistance. Applications: 1. Suitable for manufacturing corrosion-resistant parts, wear-resistant parts, seals, insulators, and mechanical components. 2. Insulation for wires and cables, anti-corrosion equipment, sealing materials, pump valve liners, and chemical containers. Molding Properties: 1. Crystalline material with low moisture absorption. Can be processed into products using standard thermoplastic processing methods. 2. Poor flowability, prone to decomposition, releasing corrosive gases during decomposition. It is advisable to strictly control the molding temperature to not exceed 350 degrees Celsius, heating the mold to 100-150 degrees Celsius, and ensuring the injection system has minimal resistance to material flow. Can be molded into thin-walled simple products with a thickness of 0.7-0.8 millimeters. 3. Transparent granular material, suitable for injection molding and extrusion molding. Molding temperature: 300-330 degrees Celsius; above 350 degrees Celsius, it can cause discoloration or the formation of bubbles. It is recommended to use high-speed, low-pressure molding and be aware that demolding may be difficult.
