The insulators are made by bonding a porcelain component with upper and lower metal attachments using adhesive. The porcelain component end faces are in contact with the metal attachments through elastic pads. The bonding areas of the porcelain component feature structures such as sanding, rolling, and grooving for mechanical strength, anti-loosening, and anti-torsion. The porcelain surface is evenly coated with white glaze, and the metal attachments are coated with gray magnetic paint. The main structure of the porcelain component in insulators comes in two types: a hollow partition (breachable) structure and a solid (non-breachable) structure. The combined adhesive-mounted column insulators are typically of the solid non-breachable type, which reduces maintenance and testing work compared to the former structure. The porcelain component shapes are either multi-angled or less-angled, with the multi-angled shape increasing surface distance and having superior electrical properties compared to the less-angled shape. All products except for the outer adhesive-mounted column insulators are multi-angled. The internal adhesive structure, where the metal attachments are glued into the porcelain holes, increases the insulation distance and enhances electrical performance, while also reducing the space required during installation. However, due to the internal adhesive's negative impact on mechanical strength, insulators requiring higher mechanical strength should be made using combined adhesive mounting (i.e., the upper attachments use internal adhesive, and the lower attachments use external adhesive).
