Product Overview

The DTB crystallizer is a high-efficiency crystallization equipment, controlled by a PLC to regulate material temperature. Its unique structure and working principle ensure high thermal transfer efficiency, simple configuration, easy operation and control, and a good operating environment. Currently, the production capacity ranges from 300 to 10,000 kg/h, with a series of ten different models. Various auxiliary equipment can be provided to meet the customer's specific needs.

       DTB crystallizer is a kind of crystallization equipment with high efficiency, controlled by PLC. Its structure and working principle decide its high heat transfer efficiency, simple configuration, convenient operation together with its good operating environment. We have produced more than 10 models of such crystallizers, and the capacity ranges from 300 to 10000 kg/h. We also provide all kinds of accessories according to clients’ requirement.

Working Principle and Features

       During crystallization, the supersaturation of the solution, the uniformity of the material temperature, and the stirring speed and cooling area are critical factors affecting the size and appearance of the product crystals.

       The effects of supersaturation, material temperature, stirring speed and cooling area are the determining factors for grain size and its appearance during crystallization.

       The DTB crystallizer features a dedicated stirrer blade, with adjustable temperature and stirrer speed for easy system self-control, accommodating various material crystallization requirements. The feed is introduced from the bottom of the crystallizer conduit drum, rising through stirring to achieve crystallization. The conduit drum is typically centrally placed, with the stirrer blade co-located at the center. In general, the motor for the cooling type DTB crystallizer's stirrer blade is installed at the upper part of the machine, while for the vacuum type DTB crystallizer, considering the sealing structure, the stirrer blade motor can be installed at the lower part.

       DTB crystallizer has its unique stirring paddle and its temperature and stirring speed are adjustable. The feeding material flows in form the bottom of draft bucket and rises through agitating. The stirring paddle is set with the same centre of draft bucket.

The DTB-type crystallizer, compared to the FC-type crystallizer, features higher internal flow rates and lower external recirculation flow rates, which can reduce secondary nucleation caused by external fluid flow. Therefore, it is suitable for producing crystals with larger particle sizes.

       compared with FC-type crystallizer, DTB has the advantages of high internal flowing rate and low external circulation speed. It can decrease the second nucleation, thus, it is suitable for crystals of larger size.

       DTB Crystallizer Specifications: Generally designed with diameters ranging from 2 to 6 meters, capable of producing crystals within a 0.5 to 1.5mm range (of course, depending on the specific characteristics of the crystallization system), residence time typically 3 to 4 hours, and slurry density up to 25%.

       Speculation: φ 2m~4m， production :crystals of 0.5～1.5mm . The residence time is usually for  3 to 4h, slurry density can be as high as 25%.
