To further enhance the bearing capacity of the embankment for the Huaxian Embankment Project, our county has implemented a compaction project on the embankment based on well-point dewatering. On July 3rd, the compaction construction of the embankment commenced. Our company is responsible for the compaction construction of two embankments, namely the Sanhe Village Embankment and the Daxingzhuang Village Embankment, totaling a compaction area of 850,000 square meters.
Our company scientifically formulates the embankment compaction plan, standardizes the construction procedures, and has a total of 26 compaction equipment sets, 3 bulldozers, and 14 support vehicles on-site for the two embankments.

The key to completing this project within 25 days is the thorough pre-construction precipitation work, which lays a solid foundation for the ramming construction. Based on the advice of industry experts from the Yellow River Committee and in line with the construction timeline requirements of the village platform community, the well point layout has been further optimized. The well point spacing is 15m x 15m, with a depth of 1 meter below the original ground level from the platform top. The wells are backfilled with medium sand to a height of 2 meters, and the pipe joints are sealed with sealant. Additionally, well points in certain areas have been densified.
Project organized 46 sets of well-drilling equipment, 12 pumps, and 8 pipe trucks. With meticulous planning, all participants demonstrated a spirit of enduring hardship and continuous combat, rising early and returning late, braving winds, snow, and extreme cold, and making a decisive effort to reduce water levels on the village platform. A total of over 7,000 wells were drilled, securing the initiative for normal water levels. Observations show that the post-treatment water reduction plan results in a daily reduction of 5-7 centimeters, significantly improving the success rate of water reduction, with promising outcomes.
Practical evidence shows that the well-point dewatering method has saved dewatering time and investment, gaining the initiative for advancing work according to time nodes. Next, Juecheng will further enhance coordination and communication, and promptly adopt static pressure or compaction measures for foundation treatment of the village platform, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled construction of the community.
